The wild Mani
The rocky peninsula of Mani truly has a lot to offer!
The 2500 metre high Taygetos mountain range plunges steeply into the sea, where the abysses in the Messinian Gulf continue for another 5000 metres under water.

Travelling from Kalamata
Kalamata airport lies approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes by car from Villas Alisseos. The journey begins by passing the vibrant city of Kalamata, but quickly slows down as you travel along the roads over the Taygetos Mountains and through picturesque mountain villages.
Kalamata can be flown to directly from many Central European cities between spring and autumn.
Travelling from Athens
Athens airport is approx. 3 hours and 30 minutes away by car. The journey can be enriched by various detours to historical sites or a souvlaki at the Corinth Canal.
The journey to Kalamata is on new motorways. From Kalamata onwards, the journey becomes winding and more leisurely: the Taygetos Mountains and many picturesque mountain villages await you!
